This team is working hard in Tustin and in Irvine to change the way teens get drugs. We are very happy that they started these groups in Tustin and Irvine and we support the Parent Team. Very grateful for this effort. It has not been around long, but we will see where it goes.

Our kids hate the parent team and we love it! Whenever the phone rings now, they think they're caught. Finally there is more fear rather than thinking they can get away with anything. We can't watch our kids all the time. My oldest, age 17, is actually changing his friends thank God! Someof his friends parents are also part of the team.

    You guys rock!!!!!
Nobody has the guts to fight those drug dealers except a bunch of moms & dads. I know 12 year olds dealing weed. They dont even know what their getting into but someone tells them money and free drugs and off they go. because the bigger dealers are selfish and could care if these young kids lose their lives. it is a bad scene in tustin and thank god for these parents. WAY TO GO! WE LOVE YOU PARENT TEAM

I think the Parent Team might be here to stay. As long as their kids are using drugs and their parents care and don't know what to do about it, they will join this support group. Maybe not, but that's the way it looks to me. I'm a member. There's quite a few others. And we only started last month. If it is meant to be, it will be.

I received a flier in my email. I will print these and give them to the office at UTT school. This is very helpful. Scary and real and helpful to all of us. Thankyou.

We are hopefully getting more volunteers to do what you are offering to do.. Please contact parentteam@gmail.com or parentteamirvine@gmail.com to get on the volunteer list. We have many tasks! Thanks for offering to help. You missed a wonderful meeting last night. There are no kinder, more understanding parents than I have ever met than at the parent team meeting. We are fortunate to have this group.

We live in the Foothill HS area and I bet there are more drugs here than in the poor areas of Tustin. The kids with money are a big part of the problem. I will take fliers to Foothill and will help expand the network of the Parent Team. Please post when is the next meeting. Thank you very much. It is time for all of us to do something.
    Big Thank You

for all you are doing. We attended the last parent team meeting and the list was very interesting. The kids know each other and they tell us so & so is a great kid, clean kid, etc, but they're hanging out with the notsoclean ones and that makes it tempting for them to participate. I am watching and keeping vigilante to keep my kids away from the drug using ones. I appreciate what you are all doing and I am happy to be involved.

"Finally there is more fear rather than thinking they can get away with anything. We can't watch our kids all the time." Fear is not a parenting skill. Open communication and trust are the only way your children will actually comprehend and understand the dangers of drug use. Harrassing your children and their friends online is immature and hostile. Instead of trying to humiliate your children into submission, you should focus on working on your relationship with your children and figuring out what they are trying to escape. If the behavior of the parents on this site is any indication of their home lives, I would probably be a drug addict too. You should be ashamed of yourselves. You are silly people with too much time on your hands. Why don't you take the time you spend on this embarressing website and go spend it with your child.
